For our clients who love to self-drive and want to discover Positano and the other towns along the coast, Amalfi, Ravello, Scala, Minori, Maiori, Sorrento in an antique auto.
Our staff will let you test-drive the vehicle and guidance to roads, guaranteeing you vehicle an unforgettable day, with an assistance service for the rental time.
Additional info:
- The daily rental from 9:30am/11:15am to 9:30pm
- The car has a manual drive (manual stick)
- We deliver and collect only Positano and Praiano hotel
- It is necessary to have an international driving permit if you are not from a European Union country
- The minimum age of to drive is 25 years old
- Our cars are vintage and do not have child safety systems and air conditioning
- To ensure better assistance, our cars can only circulate on the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento coast
- The maximum number of seats for the Alfa Romeo Spider is 2 while for the other cars it is 4 seats

Cancellation Policy
- Full refund for cancellations made up to 72 hours before the beginning of the tour.
- Please note that in case of cancellation by the client or no show, any deposit or payment already made will not be refunded.
Terms and Conditions
- The reservation is considered completed only when the client receives a confirmation of acceptance by Positano Vintage . This confirmation will be sent automatically, immediately after completing the booking procedure on the web site. In case of reservations made via E-mail, WhatsApp, or Instagram, Positano Vintage will confirm the reservation through the same means. If the client does not receive confirmation of acceptance of the chosen service, it is their responsibility to contact Positano Vintage which, subsequently, will send the necessary information again
- Our vehicles are not wheelchair accessible. They are also not accessible to infants and young children due to the absence of safety systems and are not recommended for pregnant women. The omission of this information by the client relieves Positano Vintage from any responsibility in case of accidents with injuries to themselves.
- All of our cars are manual driving, therefore the customer will carry out a test-drive with our staff to demonstrate their driving skills, and the rental is subject to our incontestable judgment regarding driving skills.
- Positano Vintage reserves the right to cancel the rental, even within a few hours before service, in case of adverse weather conditions and/or for reasons due to extenuating circumstances that could compromise the safety of clients. In this case, the clients will be able to move the rental to another date taking into account their availability and the availability of Positano Vintage. If the service is not available or the client should not accept it, Positano Vintage will issue a full refund.
- The client is entirely responsible for their safety and that of the vehicle. Cars are equipped with RCA insurance for rental cars without a driver.
- It is not possible to request full insurance for damage or accidents. The car rental provides for a deductible to be paid by the client of 2500 euros in case of damage that is the fault of the client.
- The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned in the same condition, except in case of a different agreement with the staff of Positano Vintage. We remind the client that there is a petrol distributor in the center of Positano at “Mandara Parking”, in viale Pasitea 82.
- All penalties and fines for traffic offenses will be charged to the client.
- The vehicles can only be used for driving along the Amalfi Coast (from Positano to Salerno) and along the Sorrento Peninsula (from Sorrento to Castellammare di Stabia).
- The vehicle will be delivered to the client at the scheduled time, agreed upon when booking and returned no later than 9:30 pm (21:30) on the same day.

He responded the very same day asking for a few additional details, and the booking was confirmed within a couple of days. There was no need to pay anything in advance payment was made after the photoshoot. On the day of the shoot, Paola picked us up from our hotel and drove us to a couple of beautiful photo spots. We had an incredible experience. He was funny, had a great sense of humor, and made us feel comfortable. As a local, he knows the area extremely well and treated us like celebrities throughout the shoot. He was patient, guided us with great poses, and made sure every shot turned out perfectly. The photos came out amazing, and we truly had such a fun time. He also shared helpful information about the area along the way. After the shoot, he dropped us back near our hotel, and I paid then. I would highly recommend this special photoshoot experience with Positano Vintage to anyone visiting Positano and I would absolutely do it again in the future! 😊

So I found Positano Vintage and booked their red 1970 Alfa Romeo Spider. Paulo met us at our hotel with the car which was in pristine condition. After a quick debrief Paulo left us and we were away, free to explore. The car was fantasic, the weather was warm & traffic was busy, until we past Ravello. All in all, a great day out. I can highly recommend Positano Vintage as they are a small passionate fanily run business, who are brilliant to deal with, as nothing was a hassle.

He took us to amazing spots, helped us pose and took amazing photos. Our ride in a Vintage Fiat 500 was so fun and relaxing in the early morning. Mauro was super professional and highly skilled in driving through the small windy streets of Positano. If you are visiting Positano, you should definitely book this unique experience with them. Positano Vintage is also a family owned business started by two brothers who were born and raised here. You can definitely tell they love their beautiful town!
